Description: Mihaela Wood, Associate Professor of History at Allegany College of Maryland, will provide background and context for the events featured in "The Cellist of Sarajevo" by Steven Galloway, this year's One Maryland One Book selection. Dr. Wood will provide a historical perspective on the events surrounding the breakup of Yugoslavia in the early 1990s, with a special focus on the war in Bosnia.
