Travel back in time with the library as we celebrate Women's History Month. Civil War reenactor and seamstress, Melissa Van Osten will illustrate the many roles women played during in the 1800's- and the roles they were not allowed to play.Library: South Cumberland Library
Melissa and her husband Brian reenact with the 101st Pennsylvania Veteran Volunteer Infantry. Known as "Stitch" to her fellow reenactors, Melissa cultivated her love and know-how of sewing through her mother and historical pop culture classics like Little Women and Anne of Green Gables.
