 Frostburg Community Library will be hosting an exciting and unique summer reading opportunity for teenagers aged 14-18, entitled “Confronting Bullying: A Summer Book Club for Teens”. This weekly book club will explore four critically-acclaimed YA novels on the theme of bullying. The book club will be led by Dr. Heather Hurst and Eibhlín Ryan, from Department of Educational Professions at FSU, as part of their research project on the depiction of bullying in YA literature. Book club meetings will take place from 6:00-7:30pm at Frostburg Community Library, with the first meeting on June 6th. Participants will receive a free copy of each of the four books, and refreshments and snacks will be served at each meeting. Places are limited.
